This is a truly stunning 1820–1840 Sheffield Plate food dome, and it’s in excellent condition — a real gem for collectors and vintage lovers alike! Originally used to keep meat warm at the table, these domes now make elegant statement pieces on any sideboard or dining display. This particular one is especially beautiful, with all of its original silver plating intact over hand-hammered copper — a testament to the craftsmanship of the time. It’s also a highly desirable size, measuring 12.5″ at its widest point and 9″ high — not easy to come by!
