A really beautiful 1820-40 Sheffield Plate food dome in excellent condition. Food domes were mainly made to keep meat warm on the table but look beautiful on a sideboard when not in use. This one has all the original plating over hand-hammered copper. Not easy to find in this desirable size, it’s 12.5″ inches at widest point and 9″ high.
